2 preloma: renesančni in moderni

je študija dveh ključnih premikov dojemanja v evropski Zgodovini. Zgodnja renesansa v 15. stoletju ter nato, pol tisočletja kasneje, Modernizem 20. stoletja sta oba drzno postavila zahtevo po drugačnem, novem pogledu na svet.
Renesančni umetniki in misleci so odkrivali, izumljali in zatrjevali v imenu vrnitve k starim, izgubljenim vrednotam klasične antične Grčije in Rima. Moderne avantgarde 20. stoletja pa so izumljale in postavljale nov pogled na svet v imenu resnice, ki se že nakazuje, le treba ji je odpreti vrata v stvarnost.
Drzne zahteve obeh gibanj so se trajno vpisale v način dojemanja sveta. Renesančnemu prelomu je sledilo 450 let zvestobe klasičnim principom. Postmoderno obdobje pa je zvesto okvirju, ki so ga postavile Moderne avantgarde.

Kaj nas lahko ta dva ključna preloma, ta dva fazna prehoda v dojemanju, naučita o našem pogledu na svet?
